Our history

Around 1950 Brickworks of the Ziegler family at the current company location, the residential building is still preserved today
1986 Acquisition of the property by the Gritzky family
1991 Construction of factory halls and conversion of the residential building into an office building by construction company Mayreder
1992 Lustro Lenzing, a subsidiary of Lenzing AG, is launched as an extrusion company
1995 The Gritzky family continues production under the name Neoplastica fort
1997 Sale of the production facility to Klaus-Peter Dannemann, foundation of Dannemann Global Extrusion GmbH (DGE)
2006 Commissioning of metallisation; investment in new extruder technology
2011 Commissioning of the ‘reactor’; food-grade processing of recycled flakes
2012-2015 Investment in extruder technology
2023 The next generation of the Dannemann family takes over with Managing Director Carsten Schuster
2024 DGE acquires the former home of the Ziegler family
